Dear Lynette, I promised you a progress report on the lilies you sent to us in the UK last October. Despite an unusually wet winter and spring here on the North Norfolk coast almost all your bulbs have already done well in their first season. None of the bulbs or plants have shown any sign of disease, nor have they attracted my personal enemy - the lily beetle. In all, your bulbs have made extremely good progress with a promise of really spectacular results when they reach maturity in the next year or two. I really must thank you again for all the trouble you took to send us such good bulbs last year. John and I are looking forward to seeing your new catalogue - though I am beginning to realize that there's a limit to the amount of garden I can dig up in which to plant more! Lynnette, Bulbs arrived in excellent condition. They will go in pots for a few weeks - we are having some spring weather though.
