2 lbs. blood meal
2 lbs. bonemeal

Be careful when mixing so you don't inhale dust particles.
Wear a mask! Mix all ingredients together well.
Topdress bulb beds in early spring when foliage starts
to emerge. There is no need to work it into the
soil. Please note that some animals, such as dogs, will
be attracted and try to eat this. In this case
you might want to rake it into the soil lightly.
Fertilize your lilies the easy way, use slow or timed
release pellets scratched into the surface around the
stems. Apply this early in spring as soon as they poke
through the ground. Slow release pellets will feed them
a complete diet all season long and you
wont need to spend any extra time fertilizing
the rest of the season, although they will benefit even
more if you follow up with a dose of 15-30-15 water-soluble
fertilizer 2 weeks before flowering.
Feed them tomato food shortly after flowering, giving
them a dose twice, at 2 week intervals. Why you ask?
Tomato food will make for nice big, healthy bulbs for
the next year, and you know what they say...bigger bulbs
mean bigger and numerous blooms.
