The Martagon Photo-CD is ready. It is
produced by North
Star Lily Society (NSLS) to help celebrate the
56th Annual NALS
Lily Show and Symposium, held in Minnesota, July 2003. I believe it has been updated reguarly since then.
CD Content and Organization
The CD contains 182 photos of 104 different Martagon
species and hybrids. They're listed in alphabetical
order by name. Each listed plant has a photo of either
(1) the flower itself, (2) the inflorescence, or (3)
the entire plant. In many cases there are more than
one photo. (In future revised CDs we hope to have each
listed plant represented by all three types of photos).
Each photo lists the name of the lily in the top left-hand
corner. The hybridizer's name and plant parentage is
listed in the bottom left-hand corner of the individual
flower photo and/or the inflorescence photo.
Availability
The CD will be mailed with first class postage within
48 hours of receipt of payment.
Mail Order Info Send us your name, the address you want the CD mailed
to, and payment:
A. For USA addresses, the cost is US $14.00; we will
accept personal checks or money orders.
B. For Canadian addresses, the cost is US $15.00; we
will accept money orders or bank drafts in US funds.
We will also accept your personal check if you write
"US Funds" by the amount.
C. For any other addresses, the cost is US $16.00; we
will accept international money orders or bank drafts
in US funds.
D. Note:
1. Although acceptable, we do not recommend you send
currency.
2. Payments should be made payable to "NSLS"
and mailed to: NSLS CD, c/o Frans Officer, 8920 Southwood
Dr., Bloomington, MN 55437
We know that non-US banks often charge large, disproportionate
fees for money orders and/or bank-drafts. In such instances
we will accept VISA and/or MasterCard payments, but
only for non-US customers and only as a last resort.
Include the following with your order: your VISA/MasterCard
number and expiration date, your full name and the billing
address (if different from your own address).
